This was our first time dining at The Edison. We were pleased with the selection of drinks, appetizers, and entrees. My wife and I shared crab cakes and agreed that the recipe and prep was spot on. The outer crusting had just the right amount of crispiness and the inside was thick, moist, and full of goodness. The cilantro lime chili sauce nicely enveloped the crab cake flavors.

I ordered the Edison Burger, requesting it be grilled rare. The burger sports bacon, mushroom, Havarti cheese, and a homemade onion jam. This is a burger I would go back to as the ingredients all pull together well. I thought the last bite was as good as the first. I like their French fry rendition. They are the right thickness to where you're not picking through soggy or burnt fries that I've found at other pubs.

The staff was friendly and perceptive. We felt welcomed and never had to wait long for drink refills, special requests, or our bill. All in all, we enjoyed our meals.

Great evening! The service was excellent. Specialty appetizers were their own recipes. Had the chorizo dip and spinach & artichoke dip both were delicious. One of us had the Mac and cheese which is the best in town. One had the special which was BBQ ribs. No need to peel them, the meat fell off the bone I didn't taste them but he said they were very good. The rest of us had their Prime Rib ( Fantastic ) couldn't eat it all got lunch tomorrow. All the sides were fresh and must be their own recipes they were very good.

Grilled chicken with a sage sauce seasoned green beans and mashed red potatoes Yum!! Comfort food in a comfortable warm setting. Great service excellent food prices are on the average side. Children are welcome however can get a little loud during game time as it's a popular gathering spot for sports enthusiasts.

Went to Edison's last night to celebrate me and my boyfriend 8 months together the servers were super friendly and nice. We ordered macaroni and cheese as well as the rib eye steak and BBQ pork sandwich all the food tasted amazing and came out quickly! I gotta say one of my favorite restaurants to eat at.

First lunch visit to the Edison. Not sure what this building was before, but I love the decor. A consistent theme throughout with an industrial feel and plenty of namesake lightbulbs. Our server was a delight. The menu is extensive, with plenty of room to explore. I had the Ruben with tots. A staple sandwich for me, and well done in this case. A generous portion of tots came in a separate bowl. The food came out piping hot and quite quickly. Happy to find this new spot.

Amazing food, wonderful staff, and owners. The whole ambiance just makes you feel very cozy and welcoming. My family and I stopped in Cedar Rapids for a visit and decided to have dinner here, the best decision ever! The airline chicken was perfectly seasoned and the appetizers were delicious. I love the theme in this restaurant, everything was carefully thought out- from the drink names to the vibe of the place. Check this place out for a different take on your typical dinner restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

The service was fantastic and the food was even better. The mussels are excellent as is the creme brûlée. The burgers and salads are both great and the loaded tots really hit the spot. I've been here twice and both times were excellent. Highly recommend.

The third Thursday of every month our retiree group meets for Lunch. This month we decided to eat at The Edison. We had a group of 14 people 13 arrived at 11:30 one person was a few minutes late. By 12:30 everyone had gotten their meal and had finished lunch! This is the best service we've had. The food was excellent! But the best thing was the waitress was so good. Pleasant, efficient, refilled our drinks and got the orders all right the first time. If you haven't tried this place and you have a large group I would recommend you do so.

Excellent food. I had the steak, and it was cooked to my liking, as well as the sides were tasty. Went with some friends. The wait staff was fun and helpful.

Went there with a group of friends on Friday around 5 pm and had a lot of fun. Great place to get together with friends and family. The stellar atmosphere and great food. We loved the happy hour specials and the spinach dip was AMAZING! Love to support local restaurants and this is definitely a gem.

Went there on a Tuesday night and we were seated in a reasonable time. Really enjoyed the setting and light fixtures. The cajun sausage and shrimp app was fantastic, and I asked for more bread to dip in the sauce. Mac and Cheese was one of the best I've ever had. Planning to go back and try more items.

The decor was great and something different for the area. We were greeted promptly and sat in the bar area. Really cool lighting throughout the place. Was really happy to find out that we came right during happy hour and the chorizo dip was amazing and I thought the signature cocktails were well thought out and very clever. Service was great and our server suggested a lot of items try next time. I highly recommend and the prices were reasonable and even lower than some other places in the area.
